Build trust faster with these two-minute techniques
Trust is earned, not given—but it doesn’t have to take forever.
Quick trust-building techniques
- Share a relatable story: “I’ve been where you are, and here’s what helped me.”
- Be transparent: “This might not be the right fit for you, but I’d love to explore it together.”
- Find common ground: “We both share an interest in [topic].”
Why speed matters
Prospects make snap judgments. A quick, honest connection makes all the difference.

I tried building trust in two minutes, but my timer distracted me halfway through.
Trust takes years to build, but only seconds to break—especially if you step on your prospect’s foot.
