The Two-Minute Rule

Make every prospecting conversation count in just two minutes

Prospects don’t have all day, and neither do we. That’s where the two-minute rule comes in.

How the two-minute rule works

  1. Focus on their interests. Within the first minute, ask a question that gets them talking.
  2. Summarize your offer. Use the second minute to share a brief, tailored solution.
  3. Give them a choice. End with, “Does this sound like something worth exploring further?”

Why it works

This method respects their time and keeps the conversation focused. Prospects appreciate clarity and brevity.

Humour

My two-minute conversations are like speed dating—short, sweet, and sometimes awkward.

I tried a two-minute pitch once, but my timer went off before I finished saying my name.

Why do I love short conversations? Less time for awkward silences
