Now...

Use the word “now” to grab our prospects’ attention. Watch this:

  • “Now, you won’t have to …”

The “now” stops our prospects’ brains for a moment, and they can now concentrate on the next few words we say. A great start.

Of course, this would lose its power if we used “now” in every sentence, but we get the idea.

But want to make it stronger? Watch this:

  • “Now, this is weird …” (Prospects drool in anticipation.)

Now, we know at least one way to get our message heard.

Can we read our prospects’ minds?

Yes.

It is easy. All we have to do is listen. Prospects love to talk about themselves. They love telling us their problems. And if they don’t tell us their problems?

We can ask 😊

 

Us: “What are your two biggest financial concerns?”

Us: “What are your two biggest retirement concerns?”

Us: “What are the two biggest things you don’t like about your current Advisor?”

While amateurs are showing videos and brochures, professional are listening for problems.

Why don’t some Managers listen to audios or read books?

Because it takes their minds off of themselves! ☺

We can do better. Besides learning from audios and books, we can also start thinking about our prospects.

When we have empathy and think about our prospects’ needs and wants … prospects notice! This is a great way to get prospects to love us.
