It's a no-brainer

If we want our valuable racehorse to run its best, we would not give it coffee and cigarettes for breakfast. We would invest in the best food possible.

The same goes for our new business. If we want to grow a valuable business, we need to invest time and money into making it work. That means feeding our brains with new skills and practicing what we learn.

Our business can be the biggest financial asset in our lives. Let's do everything we can to take advantage of this opportunity.

Feeling frustrated?

Worried about people calling you back after our 27 phone calls on their answer machine? Prospects don't show up at meetings.

The reason is we haven't planted enough seeds. If we want to rid ourselves of that feeling of despair, here is how to do it.

Prospect more.

When we have more prospects, we won't stress about one or two prospects that ghost us.

Start dropping new seeds by putting ice breakers into our everyday conversations. Let the seed planting begin!!

Can’t think of what to say? How about:

  • “I am thinking about bringing the date foreword of when I will retire. How about you? Ever get that thought also?”
  • “I am thinking about getting a better return on my investments. How about you? Ever get that thought also?”
  • “I am thinking about how to pay less tax. How about you? Ever get that thought also?"

Humour

In a restaurant window:

"Don't stand there and be hungry; come on in and get fed up."

In the front yard of a Funeral Home:

"Drive carefully. We'll wait!"

In a Radiator Shop:

"Best place in town to take a leak."

At a Cemetery:

"We'll be the last to let you down."
