Why our prospects make snap decisions

The human mind is designed for survival. It has to keep us alive. To do that, we make quick decisions.

For example, a car is speeding towards us. We want a quick decision to jump out of the way, right or left. We don’t want to order a mathematics book on Amazon, figure out the current speed, the probability of contact, etc. We will die.

Thinking? That comes much later.

And that is why we need to talk to the subconscious minds of our prospects to get instant "yes" decisions. Later, after we get the "yes" decision, we can do a presentation to the thinking part of their minds.

If we talk to the conscious part of the mind when we sit down with prospects, we will become just another speed bump in the road.

That is why we must learn to talk to the subconscious decision-making part of the brain.

"Imagine this."

  • Imagine this. After taking advise from our company all your risk concerns are all over.
  • Imagine this. Two months from now, you check your Mortgage payment and your monthly repayment is lower. And you smile. You feel happy that you chose our lower rates.
  • Imagine this. You check your bank account at the end of the month. You notice there is an extra £1,175 from your new client. Maybe it is time to celebrate.

What happened? We took our prospects into the future, and they saw a mini movie about our products, services, and opportunity.

This is an easy way to transfer the message from inside our heads to inside their heads.

Do we lack confidence?

If we do, here is an easy way to build our self-confidence.

Maybe we are afraid of getting started, or we don’t want to look pushy trying to make money off someone. Or possibly, we are like normal people, and we hate rejection.

Let’s fix that problem now. Here is the big picture.

Confidence = Belief + Skills

Step one is to build a strong personal belief in our products, services, and business. If we believe what we have to offer is great, the belief part of the equation is taken care of.

Step two is to master the skills of talking to people. This will take a bit longer, but it can be done.

Which step are we missing? Just one, or both?

Everyone is different. The solution is simple. Figure out which step we are missing and work hard to fix that step.
