How To Handle All Objections With Just One Word

Sometimes people ask me how I handle objections? What sorts of tactics, or techniques do I keep in my bag to turn a “no” into a “yes.”

In the products offered on my website that teach you how to get more clients, more easily without even selling - I often talk about “magic words” which make that process easier. Whether it’s face to face or over the phone, I have found that there is just one word that is the most effective way to handle objections.


As soon as you say “fine” it deadens a conversation. By using this word when somebody gives you an objection, It’s like saying “Is that your best shot?”

For example:

“Fine, that’s what most people say before they attend…”
“Fine, that’s what most people say before I even ring…”

Most people waste their time trying to justify their position when they encounter an objection. However, some people realise that you don't need to get involved in lots of different “rejection answering tricks” to negate an objection. “Fine” does it in one fell swoop.

Just a tip, if you keep getting the same objections, build that objection and response into your presentation. This way you can spend less time handling objections and more time speaking with qualified prospects to get new clients.

A Bit Of Humour For You

A guy walks into the human resources department of a large company and hands the executive his application. The executive begins to scan the sheet, and notices that the applicant has been fired from every job he has ever held.

"I must say," says the executive, "Your work history is terrible. You've been fired from every job."

"Yes," says the man.

"Well," continues the executive, "there's not a lot of positives in that."

"Hey!" says the guy as he pokes the application. "At least I'm not a quitter."
