The four words that make us fail.

Here they are:

“I will start tomorrow.”

We delay diets, prospecting, follow-up, Master Classes and exercise by telling ourselves, “I will start tomorrow.”

These four words kill our motivation by telling our minds to procrastinate until tomorrow. And we know what happens tomorrow. A repeat performance.

So, as we read these tips, are we thinking, “I will use these tips tomorrow?”

A simple sentence to get our prospect's instant attention.

Before starting our presentation, say:

  • "If you have a few minutes, I'd like to tell you how I help my clients to pay less Tax."
  • "If you have a few minutes, I'd like to tell you how I get my clients to avoid paying inheritance tax legally."
  • "If you have a few minutes, I'd like to tell you how I got my clients a tax rebate when they were expecting to pay tax”
  • "If you have a few minutes, I'd like to tell you how my clients get a better Mortgage rate”

Story’s sell, Facts tell……

I got a good story …

Magic words.

Stories are the most powerful way to talk to our prospects. Stories go directly to the subconscious mind and access the decision part of the brain.

I like stories because they are rejection-free. Anyone can tell a short story. Especially if the stories are only five or ten seconds long.

The biggest benefit of stories? People remember them. In some cases, we can remember stories from when we were five years old. That means if we place a story inside of our prospects’ minds, that story can work for us every day until the time is right for our prospects.

Humour

  • A recent research study showed that women who carry a little extra weight live longer than men who mention it.
  • After an argument with her husband, a woman phoned her mother and said, "I'm fed up being treated like a servant. I'm coming to live with you."
  • "No," her mother replied. "Your husband needs to learn a lesson. I'm coming to live with you."
